UB PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT |
|
UB’s Environmental Sustainability and Human Ecology Program (EVSHE) focuses on the interrelationships of people and their environment. After exposure to a broad interdisciplinary core curriculum, students concentrate on either the physical/biological environment or cultural heritage, performing activities such as field air and water quality assessments, molecular biological analyses, and artifact studies. Our graduates are prepared to work in the Greater Baltimore area, and in communities throughout the world in laboratory, field, and office settings, in government, private firms, and nonprofit organizations.

Love from the Hive: UB certainly gave me a terrific start and challenged my thinking! Class of 1967- went on to a degree in Nursing, National Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and just retired on Dec. 31st after 41 years in nursing! Treasured career... and as a "sideline," used my BA in English to write ad copy/focused news articles for various local papers over the years. It's been a joyful ride! Thank you, UB. - Diane E. Crabb, B.A. '67
