You spoke. We listened. The UBAA has partnered with Langsdale Library to offer remote access to EBSCO's Academic Search, a comprehensive database created for post-college research. An overwhelming number of alumni requested this service in the 2016 alumni survey, and we're happy to add it to our growing list of benefits! Check it out.
STARTUP MARYLAND  
Join the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 4-6:30 p.m., for a Happy Hour on Gordon Plaza. Participate in the "Open Mic" to pitch your business idea to a panel of judges and win a Golden Ticket to pitch on the Startup Maryland Bus on Thursday, Sept. 29. Learn more. 
 ATTMAN BUSINESS PRIZE COMPETITION
 
Calling all alumni entrepreneurs: The Leonard and Phyllis Attman Competitive Business Prize Competition provides seed funding for New Business Ventures. A total of $3,300 in seed funding, up to $16,000 gift-in-kind professional services, and rent-free office space will be awarded. The application deadline is Sunday, Oct. 16. Learn more.

 MSB NETWORKING EVENT
 
The Merrick School of Business invites you to a special networking event on Wednesday, Sept. 28. There is a morning session from 8-10 a.m. or an evening session from 6-8 p.m. Help current UB business students "put into play" what they have learned about networking from their MGMT330 courses. The first 40 minutes of the event are devoted to networking and refreshments. Afterwards, in a general forum, you’ll share your advice, tips and insights for our students’ continued professional development. BarBowl is the SBA’s annual co-ed touch football tournament. It is being held on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10:45 a.m. at Pimlico Race Track. The tournament consists of a single elimination bracket, with the addition of a losers’ bracket. The winner from the losers’ bracket will win the Third Place title.
